Comedy Central to premiere Trump as talk show host in new series

Later this month, Comedy Central is premiering a new series depicting Donald Trump as a late night talk show host, as reported by the LA Times. Anthony Atamanuik will play Trump and Peter Grosz will star as Vice President Mike Pence.

Atamanuik created the show and said he hopes it can be used as a platform to poke fun at Trump, or as he said, “Laughing at the President is a proud American tradition and we hope not to disappoint anyone in that department.”

In the show, Trump will be “bypassing” the media, hosting his own new-style talk show live from the Oval Office, as reported by  In a teaser, Comedy Central explains how Trump came to the decision to host his show on their channel.

The show premieres April 27 at 11:30 p.m.
